HMC Physics Students

In any given graduating class, there are generally about twenty to thirty physics majors who themselves have selected a unique area of specialization. Though one's degree is only in physics, students are allowed to specialize in areas ranging from astronomy to solid state physics, chemical physics to education, biophysics to mathematical physics, and physics with computers to geophysics.

Additionally, physics majors at Harvey Mudd have access to the same laboratories and facilities as the faculty, for the faculty is not the only group in the department doing research. In fact, nearly all physics majors do research during their senior year and many begin earlier than that. And those that don't do research have the option of joining a clinic team.

Here are the Home Pages of some of the physics majors at HMC. Feel free to take a look and see what life as a physics major is like from their perspective. As these pages are off site and are not authored by the HMC Physics Department, neither Harvey Mudd College or the HMC Physics Department are responsible for the contents of these pages.

If you would like to be added to the Student list, you can send email to the Physics WebMaster with the URL.
